The very first Poetic License featured 18 pieces of art at the Art Associates Gallery & Lark Hall in Albany.
In 2022, the first Poetic License allowed 16 local visual artists to respond to the work of 16 local poets.
In 2024, the exhibit featured 24 poems selected by 26 artists, who made 42 works of visual art!
On September 2022, poets who were included in the show were invited to read their work at a special poetry readings, hosted by Dan Wilcox, surrounded by the artwork at the Art Associates Gallery in Albany.
